Obituary: RITES HELD FOR BROTHER OF GERALD HENDERSON . Services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Feller Funeral Home, Waterloo, For DALE J. HENDERSON , 60, Waterloo. Mr Henderson suffered a heart attack and died at 2 p.m. Monday. He was pronounced dead on arrival at De Kalb Memorial Hospital. He was the brother of Gerald Henderson of 519 North Randolph street. Mr Henderson was born in Putnam County, Ohio, on June 6, 1920, to Curtis and Mae (Clear) Henderson. He was the owner and operator of Henderson's Plumbing and Heating Company, Waterloo, for 42 years. Mr. Henderson was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the Waterloo V.F.W. Surviving in addition to his brother are his mother, Waterloo; Two sons Linden and Gary , Waterloo; one daughter , Mrs. Cheryl Morr, Kendallville; one other brother Glenn, Oneida, N.Y.; two sisters Mrs. Phyllis Willard, Butler, and Mrs. Sylvia Carrol, Waterloo; and nine grandchildren. Rev. Bob Dexter officiated the services at the funeral home and the Waterloo V.F.W. conducted grave side services at the Waterloo Cemetery. Tragedy: Myrtle was 21 years old, driving a car with her 8 month old daughter Marcia Ellen Henderson, her mother Ruth Hullinger, and her brother Donald, when they were struck by a train near Butler, Indiana. Accident happened while Dale was away in Basic Training.

THE DEAD : Mrs. Myrtle Henderson ,21, wife of Dale Henderson off Waterloo. Maricia Ellen, 8 months,old daughter of Dale Henderson. Mrs. Ruth Hullinger, 48, wife of Elmer Hullinger and mother of Mrs. Henderson of near Butler. Donald Hullinger, 8, son of Elmer Hullinger, of near Butler.

One of the most tragic accidents recorded for many years took place at the West St. crossing of the New York Centeral tracks in Butller, when the lives of the four occupants of an automoblie driven by Mrs. Dale Henderson of Waterloo; were snuffed out at about 5:30 Monday Evening. Mrs Henderson and little baby had been visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hullinger, about a mile and a half northwest of Butler. Mrs.Henderson had driven to Butler taking her mother and brother , and her own baby daughter with them to do some trading . As they were about to start for the Hullinger home they saw Mrs. Lois Pence come out of a grocery store with a armload of grocerys. They asked her to ride home and after taking Mrs.Pence home the party started Home.

Obituary: INFANT SON OF HENDERSON'S DIES SATURDAY MORNING . Alfed Henderson, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Henderson died at his home on Saturday morning at 8a.m. The child was 6 months old. Services were conducted on Sunday at 2p.m. with Rev. Harley Shady officiating, the Ettinger Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Survivors besides the parents include one brother, Linden at home, the maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Dixon of Ashley, and the paternal grandparents, Mr.and Mrs. Curt Henderson of Waterloo. - Waterloo Press
