Obituary: ALVIN E. HENDERSON DIES SUDDENLY IN HOSPITAL . Alvin E. Henderson 37, who lived west of Waterloo on old road 6, died suddenly Saturday At 2 p.m. on hour after being admitted to the Souder hospital in Auburn. Mr. Henderson had suffered from diabetes nearly all his life, had been afflicted with a kidney ailment for the past two months but had been able to preform his duties at the Wakefield Plywood Co. in Waterloo. A resident of Waterloo for the past 14 years, he was born in Butler Sept. 4, 1921, the son of Mrs. Mae Henderson and the late Curtis Henderson of Waterloo. He was married to the former Helen Pankop Nov 23,1944 and she with three children survive. The three children are; Janice, Karen, and Allen, all at home; three brothers, Dale and Glenn of Waterloo and Gerald of Garrett; and two sisters , Mrs. Phyllis Willard of Butler and Miss Sylvia Henderson of Waterloo. The body was taken to the Ettinger funeral home in Waterloo where it remained until noon on Monday. It was then taken to the Church of Christ in Waterloo where final rites were conducted at 2 p.m. with Will Rogers; pastor of the church officiating. Burial followed in the Waterloo cementery.

Obituary: Helen I Anderson 55, Route 2 Waterloo, died of multiple head injuries from an auto accident on Friday May 23. Mrs. Anderson was born May 23, 1925 in Steuben County, the daughter of Albert and Doris Brandenberry) Pankop. She married Alvin Henderson in 1944. He died in 1959, in Garrett, Mrs Anderson married Melvin Eugene Anderson. Surviving are her mother, of Route 2 Waterloo; two daughters, Mrs. Janice Reed of Auburn; Mrs Karen Wieman, West Otter Lake; a son, Jim Anderson of Waterloo; Three brothers, Ronald Pankop, Rome City; Harley and Virgil Pankop, both of Waterloo; and three grandchildren. On son preceded her in death. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 27, at the Cedar Lake Church of the Brethren, in Auburn. Burial was in the Waterloo Cemetery. The Feller Funeral Home in Waterloo handled the arrangements.
