Obituary: BETTY L. HARSHMAN. Services and interment will be held Tuesday, Aug 15, for educator Betty L. Harshman, who died Saturday, Aug. 12, 1972. Interment will be at 11 a.m. at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the First United Methodist Church, Glendale. Mrs. Harshman was born in Nebrasks and lived in Glendale for 43 years. She was a teacher in the Glendale Unified School District for 10 years specializing in elementary and special education. Mrs. Harshman is survived by her husband, David; three children,Susan, Thomas and Mark; her mother, Mrs. Mae Hanke, all of Glendale; and a sister, Mrs. Meriann Hoffamn, of Torrence. Memorial contributions may be sent to the School of Theology, Claremont or the All Nations Foundation, Los Angeles. - Glendale News-Press Monday August 14, 1972. Pg. 4A Column 2. |
